I don't think Guel lost the duel on purpose, but he definitely believed that he could lose against Suletta, as one of his main rivals that has beaten him before. He believes in Suletta's strength because he has seen it first hand. So he could accept the loss better than if someone else won.

If only Hiroyuki had made the score. No epic moments in this series can live up to any of the Unicorn action and soundtrack fusion. That is not say something bad or compare them unfairly, this one is just... different, less theatric and thought-out to the detail.

It can still change, we're getting close to the climax after all.
But that is true, that "Falling to Earth" scene from Unicorn was such a masterpiece, that's gonna be hard to beat.

Yes, a lot of people finally catch on the fact that this anime is based/inspired on the Tempest by Shakespear, many people are already theorizing how the show might end considering how the Tempest ends.

I obviously know that the show is portraying them to be a couple. Everybody knows that. But that doesn't inherently mean that they're a perfect match.

Guel has only had a quarter of the screen time Miorine has, and he has made thrice the romantic efforts towards Suletta than she has. I just don't get Yuri vibes from them despite the show forcing them together 😕
